The Mission of Veterans at Sea

The mission of Veterans at Sea is to provide holistic education, crisis intervention, and respite for combat wounded veterans and their families.

The purpose of Veterans at Sea is to provide hope to veterans and their loved ones in the forms of holistic education, crisis intervention and respite. We also believe in educating and raising awareness to the public so that veteran mental health and veteran suicide are met head on by facts and not their typical stigma so that more people can understand, support and assist in helping our men and women obtain their goals of restoration of the mind, heart and soul.

Veterans at Sea’s vision is to heal the warfighter community through holistic healing, crisis intervention and prevention.

We are committed to SAVING VETERAN LIVES.

"Every day in the United States, 22 Veterans succumb to suicide - losing their personal battle to invisible wounds of war." Sen. Richard Blumenthal; news release Jan. 13, 2015

"When you have 8,000 veterans a year committing suicide, then you have a serious problem." Sen. Johnny Isakson; news article Feb. 2, 2015

"Every day, approximately 22 American veterans commit suicide, totaling over 8,000 veteran suicides each year - I repeat, 8,000 veteran suicides each year." Sen. John McCain, Senate hearing Feb. 3, 2015

You show me a combat veteran suffering from PTSD, TBI, and/or other disabilities and I will show you a hero. You show me a wife, husband, partner, caregiver, mother, father, brother, sister, child committed to the constant care and support to their combat veteran and I will show you a hero. You show me an American civilian who is willing to, not only empathize, but support those same combat veterans, again, I will show you a hero.
